Staff at the North Mankato Animal Hospital are very helpful and have always been available to take care of our dog and cat the same day I call or the next day. Follow up calls have also shown that they want to be sure my pet is recovering well.
This vet is very professional and they are extremely organized. I don't question the quality of their work in the least. The prices are a bit high, but I would rather pay more for quality care for my fur babies to make sure it gets done right, so that's not an issue. What I have an issue with, is that some of the people here seem like they are in so much of a hurry that they don't even explain to you what they're going to do or why they're going to do it before they just go ahead and do it. If my pup is due for vaccinations, so be it. But when I go in specifically for vaccinations, there is absolutely no reason to do a bunch of lab work unless it's necessary. And if they reccommend that lab work be done, they need to ask me before they just do it...that unnecessary lab work doubled my bill that day. I don't take my pups there anymore.
Dr. Nelson and staff caring and gentle with my cat. Dr. Nelson took the time to listen to my concerns about my cat and determine what is the best way to move forward with the care of my pet.
The Vet and the rest of the staff are very friendly, kind and caring. Our two cat's don't mind getting in the pet carrier and going to the vet. They are happy when they return home. I would recommend them to all my friends and family.
I am very pleased with the care they take with my pets. They are conveniently located for us. The compassion they showed when one of our dogs went to the rainbow bridge was awesome. I would definitely recommend them.
