This place is AWFUL. I get there with my brother and boyfriend and we are the only ones there (not surprising, the staff obviously scares everyone off) so we get in the water and not even 5 minutes into being in the pool we have a lifeguard come out and yell to us we can't be on that side of the pool because they're "understaffed" as she stands there with 3 other lifeguards.. and my boyfriend and I are the only ones in the pool at the time. So we don't really understand why we have to go to the other side, but we listen anyways and start making our way to the other side of the pool. She then yells to us again that if we didn't get over there quicker she would kick us out.. throughout the entire time we were there we were yelled at constantly for extremely dumb things. Then comes along a little boy, and another female lifeguard is sitting on the edge of the pool and he accidently splashed her. She told him that if he splashed her again, she would kick him out for the entire summer. They also close for 15 minutes to do "checks" but then go inside and just sit there for a break. The staff here was disgusting and we will never be going back.
Horrible staff that would yell at you no matter what they did. They made us swim on one side of the pool because they said they were under staffed even though they had three staff and our group was only three people. They were awful and we will never be going back.
Nice place
They have brakes so the life gardes can cool off they have about 4 life gardes and they have brakes every hour they last about 10 to 20 mins and they have a place for snacks the snacks are less than $6 or $7 they DON'T allow flotties becouse you could run into someone and there are changing rooms and showers
First problem: They don't allow masks because of an event that only happened ONCE. If it happened a million times, that's when you have a problem. They also, (I don't know why) don't allow inner tubes. But the biggest problem are the BREAKS. You can't go swimming during a break and there is very little effort used to prevent boredom. Bottom line: don't come here and waste your money. Hiniker pond is MUCH better.
